Biography

Ault, Rosemary

Rosemary Mullen Ault, 84, left us to share eternal life with her Lord and her husband John on February 14, 2009 at Elderwood at Tioga Health Care Facility, Waverly NY ,where she resided for four years.

Rosemary was born in Scranton Pa. on May 30, 1924 to the late Anthony and Theresa Barret Mullen. She moved to Waverly with her family in 1930. She graduated from Mary Muldoon High School.

She married John Ellis Ault at Saint Joseph's church ,in Athens Pa., on September 26, 1942. They were blessed with a very loving 63 years of marriage until John's passing on May 16, 2005 at their home at 102 Wilbur St., Waverly.

Rosemary worked for many years as a pratical nurse at Tioga General Hospital. She was a lifelong communicant at Saint James Church. Rosemary's life was devoted to being a kind, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, aunt,good friend and neighbor. She enjoyed and nurtured a special relationship with niece, Sheila Henry, and nephews Tom and Pat Mullen, to whom she was considered their second mother.

Rosemary is predeceased by her husband John E. Ault, her parents, brothers Joseph and Philip Mullen, great granddaughter Catherine Jane Irons, son-in-law John Elston,and niece Sheila Henry

Rosemary is survived by her children; Nancy Elston of St, Mary's, Ohio, John (Chris) Ault of Milan, Pa., and Ronald (Diane) Ault of Hermitage, Tenn.;grandchildren Amanda,Julie and Kayla Ault, Johnny Elston,Mike (Beth) Elston, Carol (Dave) Irons, Karen (Scott) Myers, Jodie (Mack) Peterson and Melissa Elston,and 11 great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday February 20, 2009 from 5-7 PM at the Blauvelt Funeral Home ,625 Broad St. Waverly NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday February 21, 2009 at 9:30 AM at St. James Blessed Trinity Church, Waverly ,NY.

Burial will be held in the Spring in St. James Cemetery, Waverly NY.

Mass cards will be available at the funeral home.
