Biography
McCutcheon, Nancy K.Nancy K. McCutcheon 69 of 34 Pleasant St., South Waverly Pa. passed away on Friday May 22, 2009 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre Pa.
Nancy was born on August 22, 1939 in Sayre the daughter of the late Melvin and Dorothy Searfoss Saxon.
Nancy was a member of the Sayre Christian Church,the Waverly Senior Center, and former member of the J. E. Wheelock Hose Co. Ladies Auxillary. She worked 32 years in the Dietary Department at the Sayre House Inc.
Nancy is survived by her husband Richard N. McCutcheon, daughter Pamela K. Cogar (Charlie Kidwell) of South Waverly, and son Brian (Patty)McCutcheon of Sayre. Grandchildren Shane and Kristin McCutcheon of Sayre. Brothers John (Carlene) Saxon of Athens, and Mike Saxon (Jodi Benson)of Sayre. Sister Connie (Robert) Drake of South Waverly. Also her loving dog Lil'Bit. Several neices, nephews and cousins.
She loved spending time with her family. Her family was her life.
In honor of Nancy's wishes there will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday May 27, 2009 at 2:00 PM in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens Pa. with Pastor James Donahoo of the Sayre Christian Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions in Nancy's name be to the Sayre Christian Church 427 S. Keystone Ave., Sayre Pa. 18840.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Blauvelt Funeral Home 625 Broad St., Waverly, NY.
