Biography

Soprano, Ann M. 

Ann M. Soprano, of 15 Cadwell Avenue, Waverly, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.

Ann was born September 6, 1930, in Bethlehem, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Rich. She married Nicholas A. Soprano in 1954 and became a member of Epiphany Parish. Ann spent many hours in prayer and quiet reflection. She enjoyed her family, and most of all, loved being part of her grandsons’ lives. She had a great fondness for old movies, especially musicals.

Ann is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Barbara Soprano of Athens; grandsons, Nicholas and Michael Soprano of Athens; sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Eugene Corsi of Bethlehem; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Eleanor Rich of Bethlehem; sister-in-law, Christine Pietrangelo of Miami, FL; aunt, Antoinette Pulley of Bethlehem; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, whom she dearly loved. Ann’s husband, Nicholas; her parents Joseph and Anna Rich; and brother, Joseph Rich, predeceased her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Epiphany in Sayre, Pa.

Burial will be held in Epiphany Cemetery, Sayre, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request memorial contributions in Ann’s name be sent to a charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Blauvelt Funeral Home 625 Broad St., Waverly, NY.
