Vanderpool, Herbert D. 

Herbert D. Vanderpool of Binghamton, N.Y. passed away Wednesday, April 14th, 2010, at Ashton Nursing Home, in Athens, Pa.Herbert was born February 10, 1941, in Waverly, N.Y., the son of the late Leonard and Ethel Vanderpool....Herbert is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Leonard Jr., and Dawn Vanderpool, of Winterhaven, Florida, a sister, Dora Cohen of Sayre, a special cousin Margaret Mustard of Waverly and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, whom he dearly loved. He was predeceased by his brother Stanley in 2001. The family wishes to thank all the staff of Ashton Nursing Home for their kindness and caring of Herbert during his illness.

A viewing and service will be held at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad St., Waverly, N.Y., on Saturday, April 17th, from 2-3 pm. Those wishing to do so may send a sympathy message of remembrance to Herbert's family.
