Welch, Ronald ArthurRonald (Ron) Arthur Welch of Spencer NY
Ron 74 years old went to be with the lord _May 23,2010. Ron was born in Endicott, NY July 13th 1935 and was the son of the late Leon and Gertrude Gregory Welch of Warren Center,Pa. He was the loving husband of Doris Lattimer Welch for over fifty years and a loving father, grand father and great grand father. Ron worked at the Westinghouse plant in Horseheads, NY for over thirty-five yeaars and retired 1996. Ron was a member of the Sayre Christian Church in Sayre, Pennsylvania. He loved camping, fishing, bowling, an avid New York Yankees fan and going to ball games with family and friends.Ron is predeceased by his twin brother Donald Welch and his sister Lillian Beeman. Ron is survived by his wife Doris (Lattimer) Welch: two daughters Glenda and her husband Carl Alve of Spencer, NY and Sandra and her husband Jack of East Smithfield, PA two sons: Randy and his wife Barbara of Waverly, NY and Brian and his wife Bonnie of Barton, NY. four brothers: Albert (Ann) Welch, Gene (Alice) Welch, Lawrence (Donna) Welch, and Leland (Gale) Welch, seven sisters: Frances Holden, Irene Welch, Dorthy (Chuck) Pease, Mary (Glen) Hainey, Helen (Tom) Brown, Lucille (Karl) Clink and Eleanor Browning: Sixteen grand children Kristy, Wade, Daniel, Christopher, Tamara, Heather, Tiffany, Joshua, Jonathan, Brandi, Joshua and Nicholas, Six great grand children: Kallysta, Amanda, Jade, Hallie, Dru, Lucian.Several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday May 25, 2010 from 4-7 PM at the Blauvelt Funeral Home 625 Broad St., Waverly NY. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor James Donahoo of the Sayre Christian Church officiating.
Burial will be held in Glenwood Cemetery, Waverly NY at the convenience of the family.
