I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s very hard to loose your mother.
I can remember our camping trip in the Adirondack Mountains. What a trip. No campsites, you had to make your own and make it our fathers did. Built a work table between trees, a picnic table, nice fire pit and a super potty of two trees that had fallen close together. Linda, I apologize, after 62 years, for leaving you outside in the position you were in when I saw that bear. However, the memories of that trip, I treasure. I also remember my family spending the night with your family and in the morning your mother telling us that we were to butter the toast to the edges. I’ve never forgotten that and always tell the waitress I want my toast buttered to the edges. May you always remember the good times. God bless all of you.

I just found out about the passing of Joann. We are so sorry for your loss. She was the most wonderful person. She was a wonderful friend to my mother when she and my mother were residents in the Blue Spruce Park. She would always check on my mother to make sure she was all right. She made numerous trips to take my mother to the hospital and doctors while I was living in Florida. My mother often said what a good friend she was and the evening talks they had on their patios. My mother often said didn’t know what she would do without her. She will always have a special place in our hearts for Joann. She will always be remembered as a sweet and caring person. We are most fortunate to have known her and so thankful my mother had such a great friend. You all will be in our prayers.
