Cameron Charles Krause, 47, of Waverly, NY died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 18, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Holly Krause; step son, Connor Tappan-Roney; beloved dog, "bootsie"; his mother, Joyce Dewey Krause Feathers of Lowman, NY; sister, Robin Crandall of Lowman, NY; brother, Arthur and Holly Krause of Lockwood, NY; brother, Bart (the great) and Denise Krause of Lockwood, NY; sister, Katrina and Mike Wood of Chemung, NY; brothers, Darrin and Joe Krause of Odessa, NY; mother and father in law, Charlotte and Lee Tappan of Waverly, NY; special brother in law, Brandon Tappan of Waverly, NY; sister in law, Tiffany and Dan Dow of Nichols, NY; and brother in law, Matt and Aviva Tappan of Nichols, NY. Special people in Cameron’s life Sarah, Emily and Dominick.
He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Raymond Krause; step father, Charles Feathers; and niece, Tarah Faye Krause-Gillie.
Cameron’s passion in life was his family and love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed the outdoors, classic country music, the Dallas Cowboys, conservative politics and classic western movies. He tried to model his life after his hero’s, John Wayne and Ronald Regan.
He was employed at Fenton out of Wyalusing, PA as a water truck driver.
He absolutely loved his nieces and nephews, and many of them considered him as their father figure, he also remained life-long friends with many of his cousins. He will be greatly missed by all.
A time of calling will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 3 to 5 PM at North Waverly Chapel, 38 NY 34, Waverly, NY. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 5:00 PM at North Waverly Chapel, 38 NY 34, Waverly, NY with Rev. John Owen officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Halsey Valley Cemetery, Halsey Valley, NY. I'm so sorry to here about Cameron. I worked with him a short time at The Elmira Psychiatric center. Cam and I became good friends.. this is such a shock to me..
