Daniel Lewis Meisner Sr., 75, of Lowman, NY passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones.
He was predeceased by his parents, Keith and Doris (Smith) Meisner; and his brother, Jim Meisner.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Naomi (Taber) Meisner; and his children, Daniel (Mary) Meisner Jr. of Horseheads, NY and Michael (Jolene) Meisner of Millerton, PA; step-children, Nora (Joe) Barnes of Millerton, PA and Elizabeth (Andy) Costley of Osceola, PA; grandchildren, Emma Meisner, Logan Meisner, Olivia Meisner, Libby Meisner, Jake Meisner, Layne Meisner; also, step-grandchildren, Veronica Pettitt, Samantha Castle, Rebecca Babcock, Crystal Stone; as well as eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dan is also survived by his siblings, Carolyn Spencer of Elmira, Alice Barnes of Painted Post, Eileen Durfee of Elmira, Sandy Arnold of Elmira, Carl Meisner of Watkins Glen, Bob Meisner of Big Flats, Howard (Sue) Henry of Elmira, Charles (Kathy) Henry of Elmira.
Dan retired from Kennedy Valve after 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and small engine repair.
A celebration of life will be held at Millerton Wesleyan Church in Millerton, Pa on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 6 pm with a dinner immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation at kidney.org/donation or via mail at 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
