Ernest "Skip" E. Hammond Jr.

Ernest “Skip” E. Hammond Jr., 65, of Johnson City passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Lourdes in Binghamton.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest E. and Lorrain Dean Hammond Sr.; his brother, Billy Hammond; and his sister, Vickie Burnett.

Skip is survived by his children, David (Brooke) Hammond of Conklin, Amy (Brian) Mcabee of Vestal, Christopher Hammond of Windsor, Justin Hammond of Johnson City and Jessica (Kirby) Hammond of Candor; siblings, Sharon Vanetzian of Watertown, MA, Phyllis Burkhart of Binghamton, Cathy Woodward of Binghamton and Brian (Annette) Hammond of Binghamton; grandchildren, Airel, Jacob, Amelia, Briana, Irelyn, Savannah and Bentley; step-grandchildren, Bailey, Jason, Elizabeth, Devon, Mark and Rianne; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Skip enjoyed, football, video games, fishing, bowling, playing cards and enjoyed playing sports of all kinds.
