I am so sorry for your loss! John and I were stationed at Fort Carson in the 80’s, and he was especially kind and gracious to me. This was a time when I was lost and making lousy decisions, but John was always trying to talk sense into me, yet with so much gentleness and respect. He will always hold a special place in my heart for that brief time we knew each other. I will be praying God’s sweet care and comfort over his family and friends!
