Joseph Andre Forest

Joseph André Forest, Age 74, formally of Waverly and of Binghamton, New York passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, New York. 

André Forest was predeceased by his parents J.G. (Jerry) & Anita Forest and his brother, Robert Forest, who were residents of Waverly.  

His is survived by his brother, Jacques (Joelle) Forest, of Montpelier, France; his sister, Monique (Jose) Vinelli of Jasper, GA; and his brother Charles (Karen) Forest of Prescott, AZ.  He is also survived by his nephew, John Forest, and his sister-in-law, Chong Forest, who are residents of Waverly. 

André’s father, Jerry Forest, was President & founder of International Stock Food Corp (ISF), a firm that was located on Broad St in Waverly for more than 35 years (1958-1994), before relocating to Marietta, GA, where the company still manufactures and distributes a silage/hay additive (Silo Guard) used mainly by the dairy industry. 

For many years André worked as a licensed TV technician for TV stations in Florida, Montana, and finally in Binghamton, NY.  He also worked some years at the manufacturing plant of International Stock Food in Waverly. 

A time of gathering with family and friends will be from 10:0 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, New York.  The celebration of Andre’s life will follow the visitation with Deacon Mike honoring his memory at 11:00 A.M.  Those wishing may visit our Facebook Page or send a private sympathy message of remembrance for André’s family in “obituaries” at
