Biography

Lorraine D. Talbott

Lorraine D. Talbott, 89, of Chemung passed away peacefully on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Elderwood in Waverly after an extended illness.

Born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to the late Louis and Vera Jurkow Syracuse.

Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Charles (Bob) Talbott of Chemung. 

She was a graduate of the Class of 1949 and a Penn State Class of 1953 graduate. She worked at WYSE-TV and Moore Business Forms. She taught school in Elmira and especially enjoyed camping, her chocolate labs and dealing in antiques.
