Biography

Marc T. Seeley

Marc T. Seeley Sr., Born 11/27/53 of Lockwood,  NY, passed away on September the 8th at the age of 61.

Marc was born to parents George and Janice Seeley. Born and raised  in Waverly, NY. He was a devoted husband and father who impacted the lives of his loved ones beyond words. He enjoyed making homemade soup for family dinners and playing games with  grandchildren. He worked for Tioga General for over 25 years.  He started going to Watkins Glen race track when he was a child with his father and developed a passion for racing.  He then moved on to become a flagger and eventually moved up to Chief Starter for the Glen region. The Glen was where he formed a strong brotherhood with follow track workers. A lot of his weekends were spent with family and friends at the track. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
 
Survived by his wife Patricia Seeley of 41 years. Survived by Brother George Seeley III, Sons Marc Seeley Jr. close friend Meci Bonning, Scott Seeley, daughter-in-law Victoria Seeley, daughters Kelly Seeley, Melissa Seeley and close friend Josiah Frank. In- laws Paul and Patricia Baker Paul Baker, Rick and Barb Elwood, James and Bonnie Voorhees, Martha Hooker, William Baker, Susan and Walt Conrad, Debbie and Joe Conrad. Survived by 9 Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceded by his parents George and Janice Seeley, his sister-in-law Janetta Baker and brother-in-law Tom Hooker. And a special thanks to a good friend Jim Woodcock and family members for all their help and support.

A time of gathering with family and friends will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 11, 2015, at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, New York. The celebration of Marc’s life will follow the visitation with Rev. James Donahoo honoring his memory at 2:00 P.M. A special tribute to Marc’s life will be presented on DVD during the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one’s favorite charity.
