Biography

Mary Jane Reagan

Mary Jane (Farr) Reagan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at home with her family by her side. 

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Nora Farr; husband, Richard B. Reagan; siblings, Eleanor Chambers, Regina Reagan, Joseph Farr, John Farr, and Alfred Farr; son-in-law, Howard Lawrence; and special friend, Seth Johnston.

Mary Jane is survived by her son, Ron (Shelly) Reagan; daughter, Maria Lawrence; grandchildren, Kandise Lawrence, Rebecca (Todd) Miller, Jennifer Reagan, and Anthony Reagan; sisters, Pauline Farr, Rita Cox, Rose Ferris; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Johnathon and Maryanne; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary Jane was a graduate of Athens Class of 1943 and worked at Belle Knitting and worked the Family Farm with her husband.  She loved to cook, garden, dance and her family.  She was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church where she was in the Choir and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.

A time of calling will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Chapel Road, Milan, PA (Also known at the Ridgebury Chapel) with Rev. Andrew Hvozdovic officiating and burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
