Biography

Paul Quinn Girolamo

Paul Quinn Girolamo, 16, of Waverly made his entrance into eternal life on Saturday, August 19, 2017 as a result of an automobile accident. 

He was predeceased by grandfather, Carmen Girolamo.

Paul is survived by his parents, Pete and Kathy Girolamo of Waverly, brothers, Anthony Girolamo of Waverly, and Michael Girolamo of Waverly; grandparents, Martha Girolamo of Bethpage, LI, Frank & Kate Lacalamita of Warwick, NY; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Paul attended Waverly High School and was in the class of 2019 where he played football, #44, basketball, baseball and was a 2 time section 4 badminton mixed double champion, 2016 & 2017.  He was a member of the National Honor Society, was top 5 in his class and member of the band, playing saxophone.  Paul was very bright, a good listener, who was funny, very caring, loyal, a leader who would do anything for anyone.  He followed the Denver Broncos, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Michigan State.  His goals were to aim high and dream big.

A time of calling will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 1 to 3 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, NY.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, 503 Clark Street, Waverly, NY with Father Thomas Valenti officiating and burial to follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Waverly.  Memorial donations may be made in Paul’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project,
