Biography

Richard C. Siebecker

Richard C. Siebecker, 64 of Sayre passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

He was predeceased by his parents, Fred S. and Lucille M. Siebecker.

Rich is survived by his wife of 17 years, Diane; step-son, Jason (Brittany) Rogers; brothers, Fred (Barbara) Siebecker Jr., Charles (Nita) Siebecker, and Allan Siebecker; sister, Lucille Pesarchick; sisters-in-law, Carol (James) Simons, Barbara (Carl) Wasaff, and Susan Luchaco; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rich or “Richie” as he was known by many, loved life, always had a positive outlook and a heart of gold.  He married the love of his life, Diane in March of 2000.  Rich was raised in Scranton and went to Scranton Schools.  He was an electrician and a member of the Local #81 IBEW out of Scranton.  He was employed for over 37 years by Matco Electric. 

A time of calling will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 4 to 6 PM at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, NY.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Tioga Point Cemetery in Athens with Rev.
